HOW TO APPLY OUR PRODUCTS
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SURFACES
Our products need a clean slate to work with! Whether you’re sprucing up a wood, metal, or plastic surface, follow these steps.
Start by making sure that your workspace is well-ventilated. Use appropriate protective gear, including gloves, glasses, and a mask.
Clear any loose debris and dirt from your truck bed (or other surface).
Use a degreaser or warm soapy water to wash the application area. Allow it to dry.
Sand the area to ensure a consistent, smooth surface and help the product stick.
Cover any surrounding areas that you don’t want to apply product to with paper or plastic sheeting.
While no primer is needed, for best results we recommend using your favorite primer. For plastic or areas that are difficult to sand, apply an adhesion promoter.

TWO WAYS TO APPLY THE BED LINER
APPLY WITH OUR
ROLLER & TRAY KIT
Before rolling, use a chip brush or the Gorilla Truck Bed Coating aerosol spray to get into hard-to-reach corners.
Pour your prepared liner into the roller tray.
Dip your roller into the tray, rotate the roller to saturate, and tap the roller to avoid applying excess product.
Starting at the top of your truck bed, evenly roll the bed liner on the prepared surface.
Once you’ve covered the entire surface, allow the first coat to dry for at least 30-60 minutes.
Once 30-60 minutes have passed, repeat steps 2-3 to apply the second coat.
Allow the surface to cure for 24-48 hours before light use and 3-5 days before heavy use.
OR USE OUR GORILLA
SPRAY GUN
Screw your bottle of prepared liner base into your applicator gun.
Make sure that your applicator gun is connected to a reliable airline.
Hold the gun about 18” from the truck bed. Depress the trigger, and spray the product in a sweeping motion onto the truck bed.
Once you’ve applied an even first coat, allow the surface to dry for 30-60 minutes.
Once 30-60 minutes have passed, repeat step 3 to apply the second coat.
Allow the surface to cure for 24-48 hours before light use and 3-5 days before heavy use.
